Corn Bread

In large bowl mix all together til just blended:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoons baking powder
1 cup cornmeal
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup softened lard
1/2 teaspoon salt
Turn out into an 8x8 pan
Bake at 425 deg.F. for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut in 2" squares, Serve warm from pan, with butter.

A great use for leftover corn bread (if there is any!) - add it to your poultry stuffing
